Sorezore no Kodoku no Gurume (Fall 2024, TV Tokyo), is a drama broadcast celebrating TV Tokyo's 60th anniversary, as a special edition of "Kodoku no Gurume".
"Kodoku no Gurume (Solo Feast)" starring Matsushige Yutaka has been in broadcast as a late-night drama on TV Tokyo for 10 seasons. It is a popular gourmet documentary/drama that depicts the blissful time of the main character Inogashira Goro, who runs an import goods business, stopping by a restaurant he finds while on a business trip and eating whatever he wants. This is the 11th work in the 12th year since the broadcast began, and was conceived and planned by Matsushige Yutaka himself. The happy act of eating alone, without being disturbed by anyone and without having to worry about anything is a blissful time that is given to everyone equally. This time, "Sorezore no Kodoku no Gurume" is an omnibus gourmet drama that features guests, who are depicted using their perspective, and freely enjoying to-each-his/her-own "solo feast", regardless of gender, age, occupation, or environment. This time, it is not only Inogashira Goro, but each protagonist will encounter exquisite gourmet food.

Kodoku no Gurume 2024 New Year's Eve Special (TV Tokyo 31 Dec 2024). This year marks the eighth consecutive year that the "The Solitary Gourmet New Year's Eve Special" series will be broadcast. This time, Goro (Matsushige Yutaka) will be heading to Nagano, near the Sea of ​​Japan! Goro has been asked by Kajiwara Toshiyuki (Mitsuishi Ken) the director of a movie theater in Yokohama to deliver "a certain film" to Hachioji. He had accepted the errand as his last job of the year, but Goro, who cannot refuse requests wherever he goes, gets caught up in an unexpected situation and ends up heading to Nagano to deliver the film. Goro heads north in his beloved Mini, but he gives up his year-end holidays, to drive long distances, making him extremely hungry. Kodoku no Gurume 2023 New Year's Eve SP (31 Dec 2023). Inogashira Goro (Matsushige Yutaka) visits TV Tokyo for a job request. His client, Nagano Shota (Toyomoto Akinaga), a year-end special producer, makes an unreasonable request to appear on a New Year's Eve program. Goro firmly refuses, saying the burden is too heavy. Unable to withstand the pressure, Goro escapes. Exhausted by the absurd end of the year ritual that has become an annual tradition, Goro decides to take a real break this year and escapes with the final line, "Farewell! Tokyo"... Leaving his cell phone and laptop in Tokyo, Goro went on a digital detox vacation trip to Okinawa. First, he went to fill up his stomach and looked for the usual restaurants. After filling himself up with sumptuous Okinawan meals, he visited a tourist information center to plan a typical Okinawa sight-seeing itinerary, but there were no activities that caught his attention. As he was immersed in thoughts on what to do, he almost bumped into a man while strolling at a beach. The man, trying to avoid him, loses his balance and falls into the sea, resulting in a catastrophe that requires him to be taken away by an ambulance. The man is Shimabukuro Saburo (Kabira Jay), the manager and driver of the Okinawan folk group "Tegezu". Kodoku no Gurume Season 10: Subbing Project (Complete) + SPs

Kodoku no Gurume Season 10 starts on October 7, 2022. In this 10th installment of the series, one episode shows the protagonist Inogashira Goro being led by a huge sign to a popular diner. He also stumbles on an upscale residential area in Tokyo, and enjoys foreign food culture. Finally there is a restaurant where he decides to go as fast as lightning to enjoy a gorgeous seafood dish! Restaurants that will provide Goro with exquisite gourmet delicacies to satisfy both his stomach and his mind will appear one after another! Plus, a "Behind the Scenes" SP was shown just before the broadcast date. And of course, author Qusumi Masayuki is back as well with his end segment, "Furatto Qusumi".
This is the 10th series and 10th year anniversary of the memorable series, and the new series will be broadcast on the 10th month of October.
What kind of towns will Goro visit, what kind of exquisite gourmet food will he encounter, and who will make unexpected guest appearances?

Kodoku no Gurume 2022 New Year's Eve SP (31 Dec 2022). To close out the year, Goro visits Hokkaido, a treasure trove of gourmet food! Goro visits Tsukiji to finish up his work and is asked by a friend and client, Kobayashi (Iwamatsu Ryo) to deliver something to Otaru in Hokkaido. Goro tries to turn down this unexpected request, saying that it is impossible to drive to Hokkaido, but the client's strong desire overcomes his patience and he reluctantly agrees... The curtain now opens on a gourmet adventure through the northern land with his little partner, Mini! Though he begrudgingly accepts the delivery mission, Goro treats himself to some of Hokkaido's unique delicacies! Ramen in Tomakamai, ice cream in Chitose, jingisukan in Sapporo, and sushi in Ishikari. And what will Goro enjoy at Otaru, the goal of this year's tour? This winter, Goro and his little buddy will run, meet, eat, and somehow become popular. This two-day trip in Hokkaido is a road movie of once-in-a-lifetime encounters and exquisite gourmet food, presented with a wish for a happy and energetic year of eating well next year.

"Kodoku no Gurume 2021 Omisoka Special ~ Gekisō! Zekkei Zeppin Toshiwasure Road Movie ~!" (31 Dec. 2021, TV Tokyo). In this year's New Year's SP, Inogashira Goro (Matsushige Yutaka) spends the last few days of the year on a business trip in Kyoto Prefecture. Of course, he samples the local delicacies which is the the seafood in Maizuru City. He also visits a business colleague who asks him to deliver something to Tokyo before the year ends. Goro says yes, but to his surprise, it turned out to be a car! Goro reluctantly agrees, but it's a delicate old car, and it's too small to drive. As soon as they set off, Goro regrets taking on the job. Without knowing which way to go, he sets off for Tokyo... but gets lost and ends up in Tamba-Sasayama, Hyogo Prefecture. Hungry, Goro finds a shop in the mountains that specializes in wild boar hot pot... Goro and his little "partner" continue to embark on an unusual road trip to Tokyo, taking in the spectacular scenery and exquisite cuisines of towns and cities he visits: chicken yakiniku of Matsusaka, udon in Ise, unagidon in Lake Hamana. Will he reach Tokyo before the world ushers in the New Year?

"Kodoku no Gurume 2020 Omisoka Special ~ Ore no Shokuji ni Mitsu Wanai, Kodoku no Hanabi Dai Sakusen!" (31 Dec. 2020, TV Tokyo). In this year's New Year's SP, Goro continues to work and to dine alone. However, the Corona virus pandemic and lockdown have affected shops as well as Goro's business. Despite that, Goro continues to work hard, and eat the food that he enjoys while practicing precautions against the virus. For New Year's Eve, he was tasked to arrange a secret fireworks show for a client. The grumpy fireworks maker agreed to the job but since it's a busy season, Goro himself has to handle all the arrangements and set up. Will Goro be able to pull off a fireworks show by himself?

TAKE NOTE:

However, I will only sub the TV version, not the Paravi or web version.
So, I've decided to sub the web version. However please take note that the TV version has the live segments.
The Paravi or web version doesn't have the live segments and shows a totally different ending.
(Spoiler -> In the Paravi version, the fireworks display was cancelled).
Nevertheless, I didn't like the NSBC 1080i raw which was the TV version, my subs tend to warp and appear stretched/bigger, and the audio is slightly not in synch with the video. But so far, it's the only available raw for it. If there is a better raw for the TV version, please let me know, and I will upload a retimed version.
Also, take note, that the ending and live parts for both versions had no JP subs so I had to translate by ear. For lines I couldn't make out, I guess-timated or left them blank.
