Kodoku no Gurume 2023 New Year's Eve SP (31 Dec 2023). Inogashira Goro (Matsushige Yutaka) visits TV Tokyo for a job request. His client, Nagano Shota (Toyomoto Akinaga), a year-end special producer, makes an unreasonable request to appear on a New Year's Eve program. Goro firmly refuses, saying the burden is too heavy. Unable to withstand the pressure, Goro escapes. Exhausted by the absurd end of the year ritual that has become an annual tradition, Goro decides to take a real break this year and escapes with the final line, "Farewell! Tokyo"... Leaving his cell phone and laptop in Tokyo, Goro went on a digital detox vacation trip to Okinawa. First, he went to fill up his stomach and looked for the usual restaurants. After filling himself up with sumptuous Okinawan meals, he visited a tourist information center to plan a typical Okinawa sight-seeing itinerary, but there were no activities that caught his attention. As he was immersed in thoughts on what to do, he almost bumped into a man while strolling at a beach. The man, trying to avoid him, loses his balance and falls into the sea, resulting in a catastrophe that requires him to be taken away by an ambulance. The man is Shimabukuro Saburo (Kabira Jay), the manager and driver of the Okinawan folk group "Tegezu". Feeling responsible, Goro accepts the role of driver at the request of Tamaki Rena (Kuninaka Ryoko), the group's leader, but...

Kodoku no Gurume Season 10 starts on October 7, 2022. In this 10th installment of the series, one episode shows the protagonist Inogashira Goro being led by a huge sign to a popular diner. He also stumbles on an upscale residential area in Tokyo, and enjoys foreign food culture. Finally there is a restaurant where he decides to go as fast as lightning to enjoy a gorgeous seafood dish! Restaurants that will provide Goro with exquisite gourmet delicacies to satisfy both his stomach and his mind will appear one after another! Plus, a "Behind the Scenes" SP was shown just before the broadcast date. And of course, author Qusumi Masayuki is back as well with his end segment, "Furatto Qusumi".

This is the 10th series and 10th year anniversary of the memorable series, and the new series will be broadcast on the 10th month of October.

What kind of towns will Goro visit, what kind of exquisite gourmet food will he encounter, and who will make unexpected guest appearances?

Kodoku no Gurume 2022 New Year's Eve SP (31 Dec 2022). To close out the year, Goro visits Hokkaido, a treasure trove of gourmet food! Goro visits Tsukiji to finish up his work and is asked by a friend and client, Kobayashi (Iwamatsu Ryo) to deliver something to Otaru in Hokkaido. Goro tries to turn down this unexpected request, saying that it is impossible to drive to Hokkaido, but the client's strong desire overcomes his patience and he reluctantly agrees... The curtain now opens on a gourmet adventure through the northern land with his little partner, Mini! Though he begrudgingly accepts the delivery mission, Goro treats himself to some of Hokkaido's unique delicacies! Ramen in Tomakamai, ice cream in Chitose, jingisukan in Sapporo, and sushi in Ishikari. And what will Goro enjoy at Otaru, the goal of this year's tour? This winter, Goro and his little buddy will run, meet, eat, and somehow become popular. This two-day trip in Hokkaido is a road movie of once-in-a-lifetime encounters and exquisite gourmet food, presented with a wish for a happy and energetic year of eating well next year.

Kodoku no Gurume ~Oishii Kedo Horo Nigai... Inagashira Goro no Sainan~ is a 6 episode mini-series shown on Japanese streaming services (starting March 31, 2022). In a slight departure from main drama, "Kodoku no Gurume" episodes, the stories follow Inogashira Goro in the midst of a minor mishap during a meal scene. This original work for web streaming depicts the struggles of Goro, who values his time for food more than anything else. The "Gurume Accidents" are amusing and somewhat sympathetic, bringing a new "Kodoku no Gurume" that could not be depicted in the previous TV series and special broadcasts. Plus, it will show rare scenes of Goro sharing the table with someone (the horror! lol), scenes of his office, and even ordering food online (gasps!), etc.

So far, there are no raws available. I timed the subs using CH hardsubs (posted links below).
It has no separate JP captions either, which means I will start from scratch.
So even though each ep is around only 10 mins long, it might take some time to finish.
I know the CH captions are a bit distracting, but it's the only thing we have for now.
Hopefully, we can get clean raws soon.

The episodes which were released simultaneously, are actually not numbered in any way, or do not come in any particular order which means you can start with any episode you want. However, I will follow the CH hardsubs' order of episodes.

"Shi To No Yakusoku" (Fuji TV, 6 March 2021) is the third installment of Great Detective Suguro Takeru SP mysteries, based on Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot detective novel "Appointment with Death", with adaptation by Mitani Koki. This time, Suguro (Nomura Mansai) takes on a murder mystery in the mystical ancient site called Kumano Kodo in Wagayama Prefecture. An unusual family led by rich widow Mrs. Hondo (Matsuzaka Keiko) stays at a luxurious hotel where Suguro was staying. She acts like a tyrant around her children who are obviously afraid of her and are under her control. First son Reiichiro (Yamamoto Koji) seems distant and unengaging for some reason. His wife Nagiko (Sylvia Grab) who looks unhappy with being married into this family, is being taunted and suspected by her mother-in-law of having a relationship with a man named Jumonji Yasao (Tsubokura Yoshiyuki). Second son, Mondo (Ichihara Hayato) is attracted to a lovely doctor named Sara Kinuko (Higa Manami) whom he met at the hotel but his mother prevents him from talking to her. Younger sister Kyoko (Hotta Mayu) also feels constrained by this oppressive hold their mother has on them. Meanwhile, their youngest sibling Junna (Hara Nanoka) is showing signs of withdrawal and lack of emotion, a manifestation of their mother's constant nagging and abuse. All these are observed by Suguro's alert eyes. However, he does not want to bother with other family's affairs while on holiday. He tries to enjoy his vacation along with Uesugi Honami (Suzuki Kyoka), a popular member of Parliament, and an old friend who happens to be staying at the same hotel. Then, tragedy strikes. Mrs. Hondo is killed during a hike to a major shrine along Kumano Kodo. Someone has injected her with a fatal dose of digitoxin using a syringe. The chief of local police, Kawahari Daisaku (Anan Kenji) asks Suguro to help with the investigation. The victim's family members have reasons to kill Mrs. Hondo but all swear she was alive when they last saw her. However, Suguro remembers overhearing a voice some nights ago. The voice said: "You do see, don't you? We have no choice, she's got to be killed."...

"Kodoku no Gurume 2020 Omisoka Special ~ Ore no Shokuji ni Mitsu Wanai, Kodoku no Hanabi Dai Sakusen!" (31 Dec. 2020, TV Tokyo). In this year's New Year's SP, Goro continues to work and to dine alone. However, the Corona virus pandemic and lockdown have affected shops as well as Goro's business. Despite that, Goro continues to work hard, and eat the food that he enjoys while practicing precautions against the virus. For New Year's Eve, he was tasked to arrange a secret fireworks show for a client. The grumpy fireworks maker agreed to the job but since it's a busy season, Goro himself has to handle all the arrangements and set up. Will Goro be able to pull off a fireworks show by himself?

TAKE NOTE:
Subs are ~~in progress~~ done.
However, I will only sub the TV version, not the Paravi or web version.
So, I've decided to sub the web version. However please take note that the TV version has the live segments.
The Paravi or web version doesn't have the live segments and shows a totally different ending.
(Spoiler -> In the Paravi version, the fireworks display was cancelled).
Nevertheless, I didn't like the NSBC 1080i raw which was the TV version, my subs tend to warp and appear stretched/bigger, and the audio is slightly not in synch with the video. But so far, it's the only available raw for it. If there is a better raw for the TV version, please let me know, and I will upload a retimed version.
Also, take note, that the ending and live parts for both versions had no JP subs so I had to translate by ear. For lines I couldn't make out, I guess-timated or left them blank.
