Honto ni Atta Kowai Hanashi ~Summer Special 2015 (29 Aug. 2015, Fuji TV) comes back with reality-based horror stories. It is moderated by Inagaki Goro along with the kiddie HonKowa Club members, this time with new member Mukai Satoshi (of comedy trio Panther). The 2015 special once again shows scary tales said to be based from real life experiences. This year, five stories are told via reenactments from (in order of appearances) Tamamori Yuta, Nakajo Ayami, Mizuki Arisa, Saito Takumi, Takanashi Rin, and Matayoshi Naoki. Story 1: "Has Come to Haunt Where Ever I Go"
Starring: Tamamori Yuta, Tanimura Mitsuki
Synopsis: Suzuki Shota (Tamamori) has come back to his hometown after resigning from his job in Tokyo. He moves into his parents' new house. His parents and friends especially a girl, Tomomi (Tanimura) who has liked him since before, welcome him back. He doesn't tell them his reason for coming home except that he had trouble adjusting to his former job. However, there seems to be another reason that he's keeping to himself. Then, he experiences some strange things happening at home. When coming home one day, he notices that his mother placed piles of salt in corners of the house. It seems he is not the only one who has been noticing strange things...

Synopsis: Iida Mami (Nakajo) has been dreaming the same dream everyday. In the dream she is walking around in pitch black darkness. At a distance, she sees the door to a shrine. Despite being a strange dream, she looks forward every night to seeing it again. The dream has been relatively the same except one night, she notices that she is much closer to the shrine than before. She is even able to see beyond the door. She is suddenly gripped with fear as she catches a glimpse of what is inside...
Story 3: "The Bizarre Women's Dormitory"

Starring: Mizuki Arisa, Adachi Rika
Synopsis: Yamagishi Hiromi (Mizuki) has started to work at a company after failing with her esthetician business. The work is tough but she gets to earn and live in a company-owned dorm for women. Having just moved into her room, No. 213, the occupant of the next room warns her to be quiet "this time". Finding it bizarre, she begins to notice other strange things while staying in the dorm. One of the workers, Makoto (Adachi) has also heard of things that went on before but tells her to dismiss them. One night, when Hiromi was alone inside the dorm's communal bathroom, the mirror keeps fogging over again and again, no matter how many times she wipes it. Looking closely at it, she sees something that horrifies her...

Starring: Saito Takumi, Masanobu Takashima
Synopsis: One stormy night, policeman Toyomura Shuichi (Saito) answered the phone at the police booth. The caller did not speak; the only thing he heard was the sound of the wind in the storm. Later, a woman was found dead at a nearby park. He goes to help secure the scene, and finds that there is a phone booth near the site. The detective handling the case, Chief Mitamura (Masanobu) thinks the woman died due to an accident. A few days later, Toyomura again receives the same call with the sound of the storm in the background. But there is no rain at that time. Then, he hears a woman's voice at the end of the line, saying "Help me..."
Story 5: "Everyday Black"

Starring: Takanashi Rin, Naoto Takenaka
Synopsis: Kimura Mitsuki (Takanashi Rin) is always being scolded by her boss, Ehara (Naoto) for always messing up at work. Especially when she delivered the wrong document to a client company the day before. Making sure she will not make another mistake this time, she goes back to that company to pass the right documents, and even receives proof of transfer. It should have taken not more than 10 minutes. However, after finishing, she realizes that five hours had somehow passed. She cannot explain such an inexplicable thing. But later, the truth behind that strange event will shock her...

Starring: Matayoshi Naoki
Synopsis: Takayama Norio (Matayoshi Naoki) works hard in operating a small restaurant. He has no time for anything else, much less forming a family of his own. He is contented with his kind of life, but he has been feeling tired lately. After coming home to his apartment late one night, he sees a man in work uniform entering the room at the end of the corridor. He feels reassured that he is not the only one working late into the night. Then, later on, he again sees the man entering his apartment, this time with his wife and young daughter in the middle of the night. He finds nothing strange about it until...
