Yes, I had been complaining that I'm subbing too many dramas. And yes, I may be a lil crazy for starting on another one. But Freeter is not just another drama... It had been my dream to finish subbing this (using another code name, I already translated eps 9 and 10 for a site which I don't need to mention - so if you've seen 9 and 10 subbed, chances are that it was me who translated them). Even if a lot of people have already watched it mainly thru streaming sites (or because of it), no one has been able to release the complete softsubs yet.
I'm doing it because I love the drama, i adore the soundtrack music, and I have some special people in my life who wants to watch my raws which of course they can't because they're still unsubbed. Nino may not be my most fave Arashi guy but having an Arashi-starred vehicle under my belt is something that maybe I could be proud of.
As I watch the drama all over again, I feel happy watching Seiji and his bull-headed ways... But the arguments with his dad are still hard to take at times because it's just too close to home... many of us are able to relate to it - albeit a little too much.
Note: I'll be releasing subs by batches of three to four episodes. I will not be posting any news other than the subbing status on how I'm doing with the translation... since I'm considering this as a side project as well. This will take some time since I can only do this when I get to have the spare time.
