Soup Curry Ep. 2: Drama Notes

Spice 2: "Soup Curry Hige Danshaku (Bearded Baron)"

Episode Synopsis. Actor and stay-at-home dad Urata Hiroshi receives some good news from his manager. He is up for an audition for a father's role in a drama starring a very popular female idol. However, he still has to deal with his daughter whom he learned has been skipping school for the past few days. He feels he has no right to scold her since he does not hold a regular job. Upon receiving some encouragement from a friend, he tries to confront her the next night...
In the meantime...
Miura Yuji (cram school teacher) is buoyed by the idea that a young girl still finds him attractive despite being nearly forty. Meanwhile, his fiancee who is in a hurry to have a child makes an attempt to get him in the mood...
Hirame Kiyoshi (the ceremonial planner) learns that that his good friend, Yamashita (Ikeuchi Mansaku) is having a divorce and wants the planner to handle the divorce ceremony. Hirame is bothered by it since he does not want to make money out of his friend's misfortune but then...
Wada Shingo (the department store salesman) comes home to find his mother sadly staring at his late father's picture again. Later, his sister in Tokyo calls up to nag him about what to do with their father's eatery...
And lastly, Igarashi Seiji (cooking expert/host) finishes making the basic soup curry. He teaches Megumi about the different spices that go into the dish...
