Ep. 26: "Cabbage Rolls"

Episode Synopsis.

Meshiya's favorite star stripper Marilyn (Ando Tamae) is at the diner with her current boyfriend, a plain-looking masseuse, Kimotoshi (Takahashi Shuhei). The nights are getting colder so Master has prepared some Cabbage Rolls. His regular customers are happy to taste this dish except for Marilyn. She says her mother Eri (Shibata Rie) used to often make it for her when she was a kid. However, Marilyn resented it because Eri apparently only cooked such an elaborate dish because she felt guilty leaving her alone in the house to spend time with her lovers. Then, later on, Marilyn goes back to her home in Fukushima after hearing that Eri had been hospitalized. She quickly returns back to Tokyo though, after she finds that it was no big deal, and that her mom even has a new man in her life again. Some time after that, Eri herself comes to Tokyo unannounced. She tells her daughter that she is on a sight-seeing tour but the truth is...
