I've stated before that I won't be subbing any new weekly drama for the rest of this year. I'm actually relieved that there were no new dramas for the fall season that struck my fancy, and would force me to eat my words... but then again, there is that one thing...
Well anyway, I'm still going to sub a few SPs, and probably work on some secret project like an older unsubbed, unloved drama.
Planned Projects:
Freeter, Ie wo Kau SP (Oct. 4)
The story takes place after a year they bought the new house. I heard that it'll focus on Seiji and Manami's love angle, Manami's mom, a little about the past involving Seiji's parents, and something about a stray kitty. I'm hoping yuizaki_libra would help me out on spot translating this, if she has the time.

Shiawase no Kiiroi Hankachi (Oct. 10)
It is another TV remake of the 1977 classic JP movie The Yellow Handkerchief. This time it stars Hiroshi Abe, Horikita Maki, Natsukawa Yui, and Hamada Gaku. Been a dream of mine to sub something with the Great Hiroshi in it. And I've already watched the 1977 movie (loved loved it!) in anticipation of it.

I'm a big fan of Season 1. But since this is going to be a midnight drama (means no JP subs available), it doesn't seem likely I'll be able to take this up. Arrgh~! Why do some of the best ones are shown during midnight? :(
UPDATE: JP subs for ep 1 for Shinya have been released. So I'm placing this one on tentative. Gotta do some thinking first...

Kaibutsu-kun 2011 SP
I know I may love Ohno to death but this is just an unabashed promotion for his upcoming movie (not that I'm complaining - I'm happy with whatever he does anyway)... but it really doesn't interest me that much to sub it... but then again, who knows... I'm sure a lot of Ohno loverz will pick this up so... we'll see.
