# Izakaya Shinkansen: Subbing Project (Complete)

# Izakaya Shinkansen (Dec. 2021-Feb. 2022, MBS & streaming sites) is a show about an internal auditing company employee, Takamiya Susumu (Mashima Hidekazu) who has a secret enjoyment. It is to drink delicious sake and eat accompanying dishes aboard the shinkansen or bullet train on his way home. Susumu's job takes him to places all over Japan on one-day business trips. Before he boards the train on his way home, he checks stores and markets to stock up on his Shinkansen meal for the night. He buys things like local alcohol and dishes that are unique to the area. When he boards the train, that's when he opens his so-called "Izakaya Shinkansen" where he is the sole lord and customer. He takes pictures of his feast, and shares and uploads them on social media. His posts are always anticipated by some of his account's followers. Despite the grueling work and long travels that take him away from his beloved family, Susumu takes pleasure from moments like this, and enables him to work hard, and to keep going...

Enjoying the first two releases as of this message. I really appreciate the extra mile you guys went through for this one, from the accent to the subscripts and transitions, everything.
