Watashi wa Chichi ga Kirai Desu (29 Mar. NHK) is a drama special that stars Eita as Yoshida Shuichi, in search of his father who had abandoned his family 22 years ago. His father, Kanji went bankrupt at that time, and owed a lot of money to many people so he divorced his wife Satoe (Karasuma Setsuko) in order to spare them from his financial problems. He has never made any contact since then. Now, Shuichi is a successful advertising executive, having his own agency, and have won several awards. However, his marriage with Akiko (Nakamura Yuki) has gone sour, and decides on a divorce. Shuichi feels he cannot properly connect with anyone, and does not understand himself. He also feels he has become his own father whom he hates. For some reason, he goes in search of him. In the end, Shuichi finds Kanji (Okuda Eiji) now an old man whose ways have not changed a bit... With this reunion, will Shuichi be able to find peace with himself?
