This year's Spring Edition stars (in order of appearance) Tamamori Yuta, Watanabe Eri, Nounen Rena, Eikura Nana, and Fujiki Naohito. It is narrated by Tamori as "The Story-Teller". First Story: "He, the NEET One and She, the Cute One"
Cast: Tamamori Yuta, Kimura Fumino
Synopsis: Akita Masashi (Tamamori) is a newly college grad who aspires to land a job at a major company. However, a year has passed and he has no luck in finding the job he wanted. Good thing he is staying in a new apartment with low rent, subsidized by the government. It isn't just any apartment, it's fully equipped with the state-of-the-art home system network. He also gets to have his own "concierge" - a holographic image of a woman wearing a maid's uniform, known as "MM2020α" (Kimura). A computer creates it for him, supposedly based on his tastes and preferences. However, as soon as he sees MM2020α, he is a little disappointed...
Second Story: "Gravesite Friends"
Cast: Watanabe Eri, Maya Kyoko
Synopsis: Karube Chiyomi (Watanabe) longs to buy a grave for herself. She chooses a "joint gravesite", near a sakura tree, placed alongside other graves of people who are not her family members. She meets Ino Yuko (Maya Kyoko) who also bought a grave, the one next to hers. The two seem to get along well at the start. Without a thought, Chiyomi half-jokingly refer to themselves as "gravesite friends." However, for Ino, the term seems to have a mysterious impact on her. The next day, Chiyomi gets a sudden visit from Ino at her workplace...
Third Story: "Daydream Girl"
Cast: Nounen Rena
Synopsis: Asahina Kaoru (Nounen) is a high school girl who loves to read books of samurai warriors and warlords so much that she loses herself in her fantasies of the Sengoku Era. Her favorite time of the day, is during the bus ride home from school. In the almost two hour-long ride, she gets to read her book, while occasionally stealing glances at her crush, a boy from another school, who often rides the same bus as her. During one of these seemingly typical afternoons, as Kaoru sits in the bus, contemplating on how she could finally get to talk to this boy, an old man comes and stands before her. She looks up and is surprised to find him wearing a Samurai warlord costume...
Fourth Story: "Last Cinema"
Cast: Eikura Nana, Kaneko Nobuaki
Synopsis: Hoshino Ayano (Eikura) works as video editor and director at a TV station. Things seem to be going well for her until her boyfriend, Iwasaki Kazuhiko (Kaneko) suddenly announces that he wants to break up with her. Not only that, on that same day, she gets into an accident. The next thing she knows, she is inside a dark theater. There is a movie being played on the screen, and it happens to show scenes from her life. She realizes this is the "life flashing before your eyes" belief that is said to happen at the point of death, only it's in the form of a movie. However, as the movie progresses, she notices that there is something wrong with it...
Fifth Story: "Revenge Ward"
Cast: Fujiki Naohito, Akai Hidekazu
Synopsis: One dark stormy night, a high school gym teacher, Ishida Michio (Akai) rushes to the hospital where his son is admitted for a leg injury. He was told earlier that the doctor (Fujiki) needs to discuss something with him. Alarmed, he arrives at the hospital but the doctor assures him there is nothing to worry about. Instead the doctor asks him several questions that leads to a topic that makes the teacher remember a shameful past and to conclude a horrifying possibility...
