SekaMuzu Ep1: Drama Notes
Ep. 1: "Celebrity president who scores the lowest in the romance department falls in love at first sight! Proposing marriage with kind lies."
Episode Synopsis. Samejima Reiji (Ohno Satoshi) is a well-known 35 year old president of Samejima Hotels, a multi-billion yen corporation that owns several world-class hotels across Japan. Despite his hotels ranking in the world's best 20 hotels, Reiji is unsatisfied, and wants to beat his rival, Wada Hideo (Kitamura Kazuki) of Stay Gold Hotels which consistently tops the said ranking for the 5th year in a row. Moreover, Reiji dislikes Wada for constantly teasing him whenever they meet during social events. The last time they met, Wada made fun of him for always being single. Reiji vows to find a bride to bring to a scheduled party event in two months, in order to silence Wada. So Reiji attends various omiai, looking for a potential marriage partner. Despite Reiji's good looks, and wealthy background, all the women he met are turned off by his arrogance and frank nature. Reiji's employees are also scared him because of his aloof personality, as well as his strict and unforgiving work attitude. Learning all these, Reiji feels lonely and frustrated. His secretary, Muraoki Maiko (Koike Eiko) and personal driver, Ishigami Katsunori (Sugimoto Tetta) support Reiji by giving him advice and encouragement. Especially when Reiji sees Shibayama Misaki (Haru), a new employee who is upfront and is not afraid to speak her mind. Even when Misaki dared to confront him and made rude remarks, Reiji cannot bring himself to fire her, and feels bewildered. Maiko tells him it might because he is in love with her...
