Tsurube no Kazoku ni Kanpai (Guest: Sakurai Sho): Side Project (Complete)

Tsurube no Kazoku no Kanpai (Tsurube's Salute to Families) is a long-running TV show of NHK. It is hosted by actor and rakugo master, Tsurube Shofukutei, along with announcer, Ono Fumie. "Salute to Families" is a travel show program meant to have an impromptu, anything-goes kind of style. Tsurube's guest co-host will choose a place in Japan that he/she wishes to visit. For the first episode, Tsurube and Guest will go to the place, walk around town together, interact with the locals, and sample the local dishes. For the second episode, the two will go on separate trips. The purpose of the show is to find and interview families (the bigger, the better) preferably long-time residents of the area. These subbed episodes feature guest Sakurai Sho, shown in two parts: Part 1 (2014-03-31) and Part 2 (2014-04-07). The chosen setting is Azumino City in Nagano Prefecture.
