Yume Wo Ataeru (WOWOW, Summer 2015). An adaptation of Wataya Risa's 2006 novel of the same name. It stars Komatsu Nana as Abe Yuuko, a lovely child of an interracial couple, who was suddenly hoisted into the spotlight at age five, and catapulted to fame by starring in a memorable commercial. Her Japanese mother, Mikiko (Kikuchi Rinko) was glad to leave her mundane part-time work behind, in order to become Yuuko's manager in Tokyo. This however, put a strain in her marriage with her French husband who only wanted a quiet and simple life in the countryside. As Yuuko grew and continued to live the life of a celebrity, she learned that being famous made her different from girls her age, and felt alienated and alone. Her friend, Murano (Odagiri Joe), the advertising creative director who discovered her, seemed to be the only one sympathetic to her plight. And just when she was able to make a friend, a tragedy occurred, forcing a distraught Yuuko to bury herself in her work. Then, one day, she met a young man and fell in love. It made her rethink her way of life, a life she did not ask to have in the first place...
