Isumi Line. This is the railway in which the fictional Kazami Railways from the SP is based on. It is a "railway line in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, operated by the third sector Isumi Railway Company. It extends through the center eastern the Bōsō Peninsula." Isumi Railways was a railway that was able to overcome its deficit problems, through improved management measures, new original products and services catered for tourists (Firefly watching, hometown delicacies, shops), naming rights, setting up new stations, as well as the "7 million training fees" (below).

The 7 million training fee. And as told in the SP, the railway indeed offered training courses for individuals who wish to acquire train driver's licenses in exchange for 7 million yen starting 2010. Four men (aged 40s to 50s) were the first batch to apply. They passed the academic test, but had to retake the technical skills test 2-3 times. They were able to successfully earn their licenses a year later.

"We're going to have heavy snow tomorrow". The mom said this after her daughter Kaori thanked her. According to danburi, This is a joke. When you do something out of character, people would say it's going to rain. Since Kaori said something out of character, her mother said "It's going to snow."

Liquefaction in Urayusu. After the 3/11 Disaster, acc. to japantimes, "Urayusu in Chiba Prefecture suffered ground liquefaction, which causes soil to act like quicksand, because three-fourths of the city sits on landfill" costing the city "about ¥73.4 billion, including restoring sewerage systems, waterworks and roads."

A railway job requires training from scratch, but it is also a rewarding and well-paying career. Of course, it would be best to learn to operate a locomotive from the ground up, but you'll need to learn how to navigate through the dark territories on the track. It's also important to pay attention to mileposts and other markers, which can help you navigate through these areas and prevent accidents. You can learn more about these at CERT Training (https://cert.edu.au/) .
