Soup Curry Ep. 4: Drama Notes

Epsisode Synopsis. Miura Yuji (cram school instructor) has found himself a rival. It's no other than his new student, Atsushi, who happens to be the nephew of his fiancee. To improve his grades, the young lad has started going to Miura's cram school where he meets Yuna. To his surprise, Miura notices that Atsushi is smitten by her. Not only that, Atsushi seems to be keeping an eye on him, guarding his moves around the young girl...
In the meantime...
Igarashi Seiji (cooking expert/host) teaches viewers on the many spices used in making the base of soup curry while preparing a dish that has twice the amount of spices.
Wada Shingo (department store salesman) receives a notebook from his father's friend. It belonged to his late father and has cooking notes inside. As he sees a certain page that has notes referring to something about 'curry...'
Hirame Kiyoshi (KanKonSoSai planner) continues to beg Yamashita's wife to go along with the divorce ceremony. She finally relents but only on one condition...
And finally, Urata Hiroshi (actor/house husband) undergoes an audition for an important role, hoping to land it so he could finally impress his daughter...

Why Hokkaido hearts soup curry. Hokkaido is the northernmost prefecture of Japan. So they usually receive the coldest climate in the country. That is why its people warmed up easily to this hearty spicy dish, heavily influenced by South and Southeast Asian cuisine. It is also a dish that shows off the island's rich vegetable produce.
