Episode Synopsis. Inogashira Goro (Matsushige Yutaka) gets a call from a female client who runs a cafe in Monzen-Nakacho. He sets up a meeting with her at her cafe, delighted with the prospect of visiting the town which he hadn't seen since he was a student. Afterwards, he visits an antique store located in that neighborhood as well. Feeling the pangs of hunger, he looks around for a place to eat until he pauses in front of a yakitori shop called 'Shosuke..."

Monzen-Nakacho. Found in the eastern side of Sumida river in the Fukugawa district of Koto.

Fukagawa Hachiman Matsuri. Known as 'the water-throwing festival' that attracts half a million people every summer.

Tomioka Hachiman-gu. Biggest shrine dedicated to the Shinto god of war, Hachiman.

Shingen bukuro. A drawstring cloth bag. It's also the name given to the grilled tofu pouches stuffed with okra and scallops.
Fukubukuro. During Japanese New Year, merchants sell 'grab bags' or fukubukuro with random contents that are supposedly sold at a lesser price than its actual total cost. In oden shops, it's the name given as well to a dish of baked tofu pouches filled sliced veggies.

Monkeys in Kojima. It seems Qusumi erroneously referred to the 'monkeys of Yakushima.' Yakushima is indeed famous for its Japanese macaques. But the monkeys that reportedly learned to rinse sweet potatoes with river water and to salt it with beach water are the ones in Kojima Island, Miyazaki Prefecture.
