Episode 15 (Ep5 of S2): "Canned Goods"

Episode Synopsis: Two young college men, Genki (Shiromori Okaryu) and Yuuki (Maeno Tomoya) are asking Master to whip up a dish out of a canned pineapple. They said they found it while scouting a wooded park for possible locations to shoot their indie film project. It was found among other canned goods, all strangely stacked in neat piles along a path...

Master makes sweet and sour pork out of the canned pineapple. Just when they were eating it, they meet another customer, Kikuno (Saori), a lovely young woman with a hint of sadness around her. The two men ask if she could play the heroine in their movie. She is hesitant but obliges. However, she fails to show up during the filming. Later on, an elderly gentleman informs the two men about a story that happened many years ago. It is that of a murdered girl who was buried at the spot where they found the goods...

"One of the most haunted places in Tokyo." There are numerous tales of sightings of ghosts lurking along this area. Since this road was in use for centuries, stories abound of traveling merchants who got killed due to road accidents or murdered by robbers and buried along this road.

The case of the murdered college student. The story is said to be that of a woman who goes by the initial "K." She was murdered in 1973 by her lover and teacher, Oba Hiroyoshi, an English Lit professor who already had a wife and two young daughters. He buried her near the villa where they held their clandestine meetings in Yarimizu. She was reported missing for months. But even before her body has yet to be discovered, Oba had already become a prime suspect. According to reports, he showed intentions to surrender; however, he disappeared along with his family. Later on, their bodies were found after they reportedly jumped into the sea from atop a cliff in the Izu Peninsula in an apparent family suicide.
