Shinigami-kun Ep 4: Drama Notes
Episode 4: "God's Choice, Room blocked by fire... What will be the fate of 5 stranded people?"
Episode Synopsis:
Shinigami No. 413 has a troublesome assignment ahead. For some reason, the name of his next Assigned-To-Die human is unknown. The only clue he has is that the person is found in Room 1304 at a hotel, and will die an accidental death in just four hours. When he arrives at the hotel room, he is glad to see only one person there, Yamaguchi Manami (Usuda Asami). No. 413 says his customary greetings to her but unfortunately, another person arrives. It is her boyfriend, Dr. Nagumo Yuji (Hira Takehiro). The couple is planning to spend a romantic night together at the hotel. However, two more people arrive. This time, it is a mother named Takano Yoko (Sato Hitomi) with her toddler son. She asks the doctor to help her son who is suffering from a heart condition and high fever. As soon as they let them in, another person comes, barging in with a bloody knife. He is Sudo Goro (Yasuda Ken), a man who is on the run after stabbing someone. The confused Shinigami does not know anymore who among these five people will be the Assigned one. Just then, they hear a loud explosion. And the hallway outside the room has caught fire...
