Drama Notes:

Itabashi, Tokyo. One of the 23 special wards of Tokyo, near Saitama Prefecture. Its name literally means 'plank bridge,' deriving it from a durable wooden bridge that used to exist over Shakuji river from the Heian Period.

Amashoku. According to 1000thingsaboutjapan, it's a "half-cookie/half cake sort of baked good which is lightly sweet and has enough dryness to give it a pleasant cookie texture and enough moisture to give a cakey density." It used to be a popular bread before but got overtaken by anpan and other Japanese breads so it's rare finding it in shops nowadays.
