Ep. 7: "The House of Will-o'-the-Wisp"

Episode Synopsis. Aoto is asked by Serizawa to investigate a locked room case in a rural village deep in the countryside of Nagano. Serizawa, meantime, will go and spend a weekend vacation in Monaco. Aoto asks Enomoto to accompany her to Nagano but he is not at his company. He is on vacation, as well... That is, he is out of town, acquiring a rare antique lock to add to his collection. Incidentally, the place where he went to is Nagano. Aoto asks Enomoto on the phone to stay and wait for her there...
The locked room case takes place in an old venerable Japanese house. A female middle school student hit her head on a pillar, resulting to her death. She had bruises on her face, indicating that she was hit. Drawers were ransacked and the homeowner's gold ingots were missing. All the doors and windows were locked from the inside except for one window on the first floor. Could the culprit have escaped from there? However, there were no footprints on the muddy ground outside that window, making it seem the culprit had vanished into thin air...

Drama Notes:
Episode 7 Clues and Hints:

(Left pic, top) A splatter of blood with the no. '1' on it; (Right pic, top) Two rising balls of blue light, first behind Enomoto, and second one appeared just after Aoto; (Left pic, bottom) A figure that has a bar attached to it with a rope as well as the no. '2'; and lastly (Right pic, Bottom), a bee lands on the key. (They're generous with this week's hints, huh? ^^)
Will-o'-the-wisp. In Japan, it is called 'kitsune-bi' or 'fox-fire hex,' a fox spirit thought to give off light using their tails, leading travelers to the wrong paths at night. In the West, it's also called 'jack-o'-lanterns' or 'hinkypunk.'

Uber yummy... "Each time I film something, I get hooked on something or another (...)This time in the Fuji TV canteen, there's been something called 'meat soup' ('nikusui' or beef soup). Something like Japanese-style soup with meat? It's really tasty. It comes with rice. And then although it's kinda like gyuudon, there's a distinct difference (...) Initially (...) I absolutely refused to eat it (...) No matter how I look at it, it looks kinda bland. If it were gyuudon I'd be at it like a shot though, I thought. So when I ordered it I felt kinda cheated (...) It was uber yummy. (laughs) How can I describe that feeling? It was delicious. Then, rather uncharacteristically of me, I added shichimi. That made a perfect balance of flavours. So for this drama, I'm hooked on 'meat soup'. Persistently. Be it lunch or dinner, I definitely have it at least once. Yeah. I kinda want to keep eating it until the end."
