Moteki (Love Strikes! 2011 Movie) stars Moriyama Mirai reprising his role of Fujimoto Yukiyo, the sensitive and awkward main character from the 2010 drama (TV Tokyo) of the same title. Originally based on the manga by Kubo Mitsuro, the film is written and directed by Ohne Hitoshi. It takes place a year after Fujimoto experienced his moteki (the so-called highest peak of one's popularity or appeal). After that, however, he is down in the dumps again, lonely, jobless, and highly frustrated over his being a 'second virgin.' He decides to start over by landing a job in an entertainment news website after he was hired by his friend, Sumida Takuya (Lily Franky). He is happy with his work, finding at last a new lease on life. Plus, he thinks he is experiencing his second moteki, as he gets acquainted with four lovely ladies once again: his cool and feisty co-worker, Motoko (Maki Yoko); the gentle and simple Rumiko (Kumiko Aso); the cute and attentive bargirl Ai (Naka Riisa); and the fun and charming Miyuki (Nagasawa Masami). But not all is great for Fujimoto as he finds himself falling hard for Miyuki who openly flirts with him despite having a boyfriend...

- I'm sure those familiar with the drama know how fast our beloved knucklehead Yukiyo talks in his head, and the many otaku stuff he keeps blabbing about. ^^ Hence, there are many translator's notes in the subs so just pause when needed.
- If you haven't watched the drama yet, it's ok to go ahead with the movie. :)
- These subs are meant for the dvdrip version but it also works for the BluRay version.
