Episode Synopsis. Reiji (Ohno Satoshi) found out that Misaki (Haru) probably has a Belgian boyfriend. The news apparently came from his employee Miura Ieyasu (Kotaki Nozomu) who overheard Misaki fighting with someone on the phone the other day. In order to confirm it, Reiji secretly asks Miura to investigate about the matter. However, regardless whether Misaki has broken up with a foreigner boyfriend or not, Reiji feels he cannot date her. "The idea of her dating foreign men is a difficult thing to deal with," he says stubbornly. His secretary Maiko (Koike Eiko) advises him to be open-minded and tolerant... Meanwhile, Misaki arranges the reemployment of beloved employee, Matsuda Momoyo (Miho Jun) who was recently fired by Reiji. The place she is planning to help Matsuda gain reemployment is Samejima Hotel's rival, Stay Gold Hotel...
Drama Notes:
Tsumayouji bukuro [つまようじ袋]. Toothpick bag/pouch. Usually, these are made of paper and are disposable (pic above). But in this episode, Matsuda's handmade toothpick pouches are meant to be reused.

The food that was mentioned. Otonash mentioned these food that need the use of toothpicks: Kishinsai-itame [空芯菜炒め] Stir-fried Chinese water cabbage. Bean sprouts in namul [ナムルのもやし] which is a Korean veggie side dish, usually accompanying a yakiniku meal. Saki-Ika [サキイカ] or shredded dried squid (pic above). Reba-Nira Itame [レバニラ炒め] is sauteed liver and garlic chives. Iekei Ramen [家系ラーメン] is a ramen dish with thick flat noodles that is said to originate from Yokohama.

Saikou Shinkan. The Chinese restaurant "Gia" where they ate. Which I found surprising since I thought it was just a studio site. This restaurant has five stories and the room where the scenes were filmed is a private function room located on the 3rd floor. Yokohama New Grand Hotel. The facade used as the site for "Stay Gold Hotels". This is a common filming site for period dramas including "Murder on the Orient Express Part 2" (where "Mrs. Hatori" lived after the tragedy). Mirko. If you notice, Misaki's Belgian boyfriend is named "Mirko" or "Mirco" which is strange because it is an Italian name. But it was probably used by the drama's writer because it sounds like "Milk".
