Orient Kyuukou Satsujin Jiken SP: Subbing Project (Complete) UPDATED

"Orient Kyuukou Satsujin Jiken" SP (Fuji TV Winter 2015 New Year Presentation) is based on Agatha Christie's 1934 classic murder novel, "Murder on the Orient Express", with a screenplay adaption by Mitani Koki. It stars an impressive line up of actors, headed by Nomura Mansai as the eccentric detective, Suguro Takeru. Other stars include Matsushima Nanako, Ninomiya Kazunari, Anne, Tamaki Hiroshi, Sawamura Ikki, Kichise Michiko, Fuji Sumiko, Takahashi Katsumi, Kusabue Mitsuko, Nishida Toshiyuki, and Sato Koichi. The story takes place in 1933, on a train called the Special Orient Express traveling from Shimonoseki to Tokyo. Det. Suguro manages to avail of a first class private compartment despite it being fully booked at an unlikely time of the year. On board are men and woman from all walks of life, sharing a deluxe carriage for one night. Det. Suguro is expecting a luxurious and splendid journey. However, the train gets stranded in the middle of nowhere due to an avalanche. Not only that, a murder incident occurs during the night, and he has been tasked to investigate...

Shinobi No Kuni (Toho Ltd., 2017) is a movie released with the English title, "Mumon: The Land of Stealth". It stars Ohno Satoshi as the shinobi (ninja) Mumon. Set during the Warring States Period, the story centers around Mumon, who is the most skilled and reliable shinobi in Iga country. He fears no one, except his wife, O-Kuni (Ishihara Satomi). O-Kuni is unhappy over the meager sum of money Mumon brings home from his shinobi jobs. Despite that, Mumon loves her dearly and is happy living his life as it is. However, ordered by his boss, Mumon kills the brother of fellow shinobi Shimoyama Heibee (Suzuki Ryohei). This triggers a series of events that ultimately leads to war. Neighboring Ise which has been taken over by Nobukatsu (Chinen Yuri), the second son of the powerful warlord Oda Nobunaga, wants to invade Iga. They plan to rid the world of the savage beasts that are the shinobi...

Update:
After reviewing my subs, I noticed some mistakes but I can't revise it anymore so I'll list them here instead. So if you're planning to use my subs for translating to your language, please take note of the following:
At 0:26:32:30 - Okuni said "286 mon" and not "386". Thanks to jxhide for pointing it out.
0:34:31.36 - When Daizen said "kisama" (scoundrel), he actually meant "you", so what he said was, "They (Iga people) are the same as you". That's why Sakyounosuke was annoyed.
0:36:18.82 - Okuni should have said, "With today's allowance, you'll be able to earn the 40 kan in no time."
0:48:06.29 - It should be "Nobunaga's brat" and not "Nobukatsu brat". SPOILER: If you notice, Mumon avoided calling Nobukatsu by his name and only addressed him as "brat" or "Oda's brat" or "5000 kan", until the ending. That's why I think this correction is important.
Finally, I noticed I kept misspelling Heki Daizen's name as "Heiki" so please take note of that as well.

Hi and thanks to those who recently subscribed to my blog. To those who don't know, there are a lot of LJ account users who transferred lately here to Dreamwidth, and many of them are Arashi fans. I don't follow back for personal reasons, nor do I always reply to your nice messages but I do read them and appreciate for taking the time to write to me. So as a way of thanks for the follow, here's a translation of VS Arashi (052517)'s intro talk (only). VS isn't really my favorite show, but I like their simple, small chit-chats. They may be silly talks but still, they give us bits and pieces of what goes on in their camaraderie and everyday lives.
