Here are some drama notes for the SP "Daijoyu Satsujin Jiken" (Warning: Spoilers Ahead!!):

The Original Novel. "The Mirror Crack'd from Side to Side" by Agatha Christie was published in 1962, featuring Miss Marple as the amateur detective who cracked the case. It takes references from actual history (discussed below). The time setting sees the end of the 50s, and the beginnings of a rising new culture of the 60s, with Miss Marple commenting on these changes and her aging health.

Daijoyu Satsujin Jiken: Subbing Project (Complete)

Daijoyu Satsujin Jiken (25 March 2018, TV Asahi) is the second round of Agatha Christie's Mystery SPs (first was "Paddington Hatsu 4.50"). This time it stars, Sawamura Ikki repising his role of the genius police inspector Shokokuji Ryuya from the 2017 SP "Soshite, Daremo Inakunatta". This time, he investigates a homicide incident that occurred in a mansion called "Kami no Yakata", owned by celebrated actress, Iridori Madoka (Kuroki Hitomi). Madoka is making her acting comeback after a prolonged absence, with the help of her director husband, Kaido Akira (Furuya Ikko). She was holding a party at a house to celebrate the start of her movie filming when one of the guests fell over and declared dead. The victim apparently drank a poisoned cocktail that was intended for Madoka. Was someone targetting the life of the great actress? A discarded eyedrop container, threatening phone calls and letters, and pictures of Madoka with a doomed look on her face during the party were some of the clues Shokokuji deemed worth looking into...
