Subber's Diary entry#15: Asuko ep5

The weather has been crazy the past 48 hours. I normally don't want to switch on my computer for fear of electricity fluctuations causing a slight delay in the subbing of this episode.
I'm not truly happy with my subbing output on ep5. I give myself a rating of 6 in a scale of 10. I have to admit that my opinion of the story episode affects my subbing mode. I do much better if I like the story. After liking the previous episode, I was disappointed with this week's episode with regards to the development of Nao's character. Sure, she's a bit spoiled and stubborn just like any ordinary teen-aged girl. But no girl could be that fickle! One minute she was crying and imploring everyone to help out and then complaining the next that she doesn't want to do it anymore. Yeah, she learned her lesson in the end. It's just that I wish the writers would have thought of a much better scenario than that.

Again, I'm telling you, this girl gives one of the best crying performances. Way to go, Emi-chan!
Alright. I want to rest for the weekend, enjoy the bed weather by sleeping, go shopping, and do more jdrama watching. I'll also finish editing "Freeter" eps 1-3, too, and hopefully release them before Nino's b-day on the 17th. I'm also contemplating whether to sub the upcoming drama, "Arakawa Under the Bridge."
